- Feature Description:
User can disable the overlay (injection) for the game without disabling the auto starts.
impact for my app: [low, mid, high, show-stopper]
What is your current pain point?
Following users complaining about Overwolf causing FPS drop and other users dont like in-game overlays (see also conflicts with RivaTuner or MSIAfterBurner which cause game crash), the overlay injection should be disabled totally maintaining game integration.
Overwolf, at least on ETS2 and ATS, cause really an FPS drop from 2-3 fps to 10 or more also without opened in-game windows.
- What do you have in mind to solve it?
This option should be managed differently: instead of shutting down completely game events or game info updates should:
- maintain the autostart of the app when the game launch
- choose if inject Overwolf inside the game
- Outcome for Overwolf
Increase of users number and ad revenues. User will continue to use the Desktop Window where the majority of ads revenues are done (check Partner Reports)
