Game Creator / Game Mode in Custom Games

  • Feature Description: It would be awesome if we could expand https://overwolf.github.io/docs/api/overwolf-games-events-pubg#match to show, when the game is a Custom Game what Game Mode that has been chosen, and what player-name created the game (accountId works as well), and for regular public games this information could be blank.

  • impact for my app: low right now, but a feature I’ve thought out depends on it’s existence.

  • What is your current pain point? Not being able to plan for a new feature.

  • What do you have in mind to solve it? Ask PUBG Corp if one could get this data somehow. If so, then sweet, if not then… well worth a shot,

note for staff: after FR is accepted, add a link to the internal ticket.

We will add it to our backlog, but due to prior prioritization, we will not be able to provide it in the near future.
