Allow Overwolf apps to be pinned to the taskbar after a right click on the running app

When you click on any app on Windows 10, you have the option to pin it to the taskbar. This is extremely important for keeping your application visible to your users.

Overwolf apps are supposed to function as desktop applications, and this missing feature really makes my app feel like an “Overwolf widget” as opposed to a desktop application with an Overwolf overlay.

Right now, when you right click on a running application, you can pin it, but after you close the application, the pin changes to an Overwolf launcher, and the icon changes.

Hi, and thanks for the feedback.
We will discuss the matter internally, and then we’ll make a decision.
Usually, it takes a few days. We will update you here.

BTW, have you tried to drag the desktop shortcut that created on installation the taskbar and pin it? This way, it should behave as you wanted. Please try and let me know if that worked for you.

Thanks.

@cyrus This feature is already implemented and live. Please check and tell us what do you think. Thanks.
